[Case Study] Wiring Reduction for Rotary Head Robot Type
Reducing the risk of failure in movable parts! Introducing a case study on the implementation of "wiring reduction for rotary head robot types."
We would like to introduce a case study of the "wiring reduction for rotary head robot types" handled by Takaki Manufacturing. When using a rotating type robot, it is necessary to wire signals from sensors installed on the rotary head through a slip ring, which results in high costs for the slip ring and sensor wiring. After implementation, by placing a microcontroller board on the rotary head and communicating with the head's microcontroller via infrared, it has become possible to check the status of the sensors mounted on the rotary head. [Case Overview] ■ Challenges - High costs for slip ring and sensor wiring - Sensor signal abnormalities due to slip ring degradation ■ Results - Ability to check the status of sensors mounted on the rotary head - Reduced risks of sensor signal abnormalities - Reduced risk of failure in movable parts *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
